In full World War II, a French couple patrolmen tried to seize German merchant anchored in the Ria de Vigo. On the night of 6th January 1940, the fog caused the "Barsac" is too close to the costa.7 dead and 10 missing. Very scrapped.

Armament: 4 100 mm guns, 2 cannons 37 mm, 2 mm anti-aircraft guns 8, depth charges.
