TELAMON

The first name of this ship was Temple Hall, to be renamed years later by a Greek shipping company as Telamon, in honor of one of the legendary Argonauts. With this name on October 31, 1981 during a trip from San Pedro to Thessaloniki, she suffered a leak and was stranded in Arrecife, where she broke into two halves. She still keeps her engine room intact. The stern part emerges a few meters from the coast, between Arrecife and Costa Teguise, forming a typical picture. Barely 50 meters away, half of the bow lies submerged to a depth of just 10 meters. It is a simple dive. It is an ideal dive for beginners and it is the only wreck in Lanzarote that can be visited only with goggles and a snorkel.
